Pickleball with Women in Building Industry Join us for an afternoon of fun, fitness, and professional connection! The Women in Building Industry (WBI) invites you to a dynamic networking event at the Pickleball Club of Tyson’s. Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to the sport, this is a great opportunity to connect with industry peers in a casual and energetic setting — with pickleball instruction available for those looking to sharpen their skills or learn the basics. Date: May 7, 2025 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM Location: Pickleball Club of Tyson’s, 8520 Tyco Road, Tysons Corner, VA Dress Code: Athletic attire with tennis, pickleball, or cross-training shoes. NVBIA Governor’s Breakfast - May 12, 2025
A First Time Keystone Event for NVBIA The Honorable Glenn Younkin, Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia will address the NVBIA membership on May 12, 2025. To be held at Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, this Policy Breakfast will feature Governor Glenn Youngkin as its Keynote speaker. In addition to Governor Youngkin, Dr. Keith Waters, Assistant Director of the Stephen S. Fuller Institute at George Mason University will speak to the “Intersection of Housing and Business”. Following Dr. Waters presentation, a panel of industry experts including Jon Paterson CEO and Chairman at the Peterson Companies, Andrew Clark, Vice President of Government Affairs at the Home Builders Association of Virginia (HBAV) and Chair Jeff McKay of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors will address a variety of issues crucial to housing in the Commonwealth.
