EHD was founded by Marta Layseca who has more than 25 years of experience in residential design and construction. Marta has an architectural degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also graduated from the College of Architecture at the University of Arizona with a Master in Sustainable Architecture; where she started researching the impact of the use of natural materials and energy strategies in housing, and how the traditional design principles can be merged with today's technology.
Marta has practiced in several US states and Argentina incorporating a wide range of cultures, climates, and design styles that has broadened her experience. Marta is the project manager from concept to completion developing the integrated design and build process with personalized attention to the client
